Placing a Jeep Duck: Creative Locations on the Jeep

Phil Tullai

When it comes to surprising someone with a Jeep duck, where you place it is part of the fun! Here are some popular and creative locations:

Duck Landing Pad:

This might come as no surprise, but if you see a landing pad for ducks, this should be the number one place to set it down.

Side Mirrors:

One of the easiest and most visible spots. Simply perch the duck on the side mirror for a pleasant surprise.

Door Handles:

Tuck the duck around the door handle. It’s subtle but sure to catch their eye before they hop in.

Windshield Wipers:

A classic spot! Secure the duck on the windshield under the wiper for a secure and prominent placement.

Hood:

Place the duck on the hood near the emblem for a bold and unmistakable statement.

Front Grille:

If the Jeep has a slotted grille, you can carefully place the duck there for a fun and quirky presentation.

Tire or Wheel Cover:

If the Jeep has a spare tire on the back, place the duck on the tire or inside the cover.  They unfortunately might not see it for a while though...

Doorsteps or Running Boards:

A small surprise waiting for them as they step into their Jeep.

Interior:

If you know the owner, and the top and sides are off, you can leave it on the dashboard, cup holder, or even hanging from the rearview mirror as a personalized touch.

Caution - Beware of inclement weather that can take the duck for a ride down the trail, parking lot or drive way, never to be seen again!
